 | Biography/Personal Statement
At 42 years old, I find myself here at Tabor
House, thankful to God that he has given me yet another opportunity to
accept this life of sobriety, His grace, as my sponsor Cholly has made
me so well aware of.
The love and concern of two parents, three sisters, two beautiful
children and countless friends, true friends has been beaten upon by
this disease of addiction. I am truly grateful of your continued
support.
I could sit here for hours telling you what has taken place over the
past years and what I hope to move towards and accomplish in the years
to come, you have heard such stories too many times and too many times
you have witnessed the devastating effects of active addiction. The
truth is I have no idea what He has planned for me in the future, I
really don't know, but drugs and alcohol are not in the equation. It
is time for me to listen for my answers and then to put them into
action, not just talk about it.
With the help of God, my sponsor, Cholly, my brothers here at Tabor
and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous I will continue to grow and
my actions will speak louder than any words I could ever speak, its
time for me grow!!!
