Please Pray For...

Prayer is important. Prayer changes things. Prayer affords us a confirmation of hope in our lives, it affords an opportunity to practice virtue, to practice discipline, to trust in Another, to surrender etc etc...
There are many ways you can help the men of this house and we are especially interested in receiving the grace of your intercession. We are called to be relational beings and though many of us cannot help one another materially, whether that be through financial or physical means, we can all offer our spiritual support. Some of the areas that concern us in early recovery range from reconciliation in the family to renewed dignity through work, through restored and renewed identities. Some of the guys come from prison backgrounds, some come from hospitals or institutions. Others were homeless and without support. We are all looking for solutions in areas that used to baffle us, we need all the help we can get and are appreciative of your support in these areas.

Periodically we will post the prayer requests of the men of Tabor on this page and want to thank you beforehand for the time and effort you spend on raising these men's needs and intentions to The Father.  May He bless you all,  gez+

Please Pray for...

A big Thank you to all who prayed for Kevin during his time in intensive care. He will be returning to Tabor today where he hopes to continue with his convalescence and is hopeful of a full recovery, Alleluia !!!

Please pray for the men and women who have passed away over the years there have been many causes of death for people in sobriety as well as those who have died in relapse. The illness of addiction can takes its toll....even years later, pray for their souls and for their families who grieve their loss.

There are a number of men who have been asking for help with addictions other than alcohol, sex, gambling etc...We are hoping for a holistic recovery if our dignity is to ever be restored.

Please remember in your prayers ALL former members (found on the alumni page) especially those in relapse.

A number of the guys are desirous of vocational work and have many difficulties to overcome in attaining their desired goals, this will involve state grants and education, please pray for a smooth road ahead.

Alcoholism is a family illness, there is much work to be done. We appreciate your prayers as we go through the steps of AA in an attempt to clear away the wreckage of the past. let us not forget to pray for the family members.

Please pray for the Vesprini family for all they have done for us.

We would like to ask too for prayers for all those who have made our life here possible, for Carol, Linda and all the friends of Tabor. God loves a generous giver.

May you all experience His Love this day. +
