Below is a partial list of items of need for The Tabor House. Donations are accepted at any time. Please call (609) 456 8857 or email donations@taborhouse.org for more information. 

St. Francis who is regarded as the inspiration for our 11th step prayer was known to ask for bricks that he might rebuild the Church, he was known to promise a blessing for those than could give with a generous heart. We need your help to keep rebuilding, May The Lord Bless All Your Efforts And Acts Of Kindness.

We especially are looking towards the Spring retreat at Malvern and are in need of assistance to help guys who cannot afford to go, any offering would be greatly appreciated.

Items of Need:


Cash Donations for excavation of old driveway and laying of new blacktop, we have experienced two falls of late), we are going to need a new roof before the onset of winter we would also like to fit the house with carpet runners before the winter (for heat and noise purposes) as well as monies to be raised for the men's retreat of Spring 2006.Money for general maintenance, there are several ceilings and walls that need to be re-surfaced, bathrooms that need plumbing work and bedrooms that need electrical outlets...all donations need to be marked appropriately and checks can be made payable to Tabor House Inc...we greatly appreciate your assistance!

House Needs:
(Furniture and Rugs) Area Rugs, Floor Mats, Door Mats, End tables, Rocking Chairs, Bookcases, Wood (colored) dressers, high backed Kitchen Chairs (dark wood), Bedside Lamps, Standing Oscillating Fans (summer).

Food Items:

Canned Goods, Coffee, Dairy products, (milk, cheese, 1/2 & 1/2 eggs etc...), Sugar, Salad dressing, condiments, herbs and spices, juice, fruit and vegetables...non-perishable food stuffs.

Misc Needs:
Tools, Ping-Pong stuff, Candles, (scented and plain) Light Bulbs (all kinds), Batteries, (all kinds) Spiritual Tools, (books, tapes and CDs...AA and Religious), Drinking Glasses, Clothing.

Hygiene, Toiletries, Cleaning Supplies:
Laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher detergent, bleach, Lysol, toilet cleaner. men's toiletries (shaving foam, soap, toothpaste and brushes, first aid stuff, shampoo, cleaning supplies, (mops, brooms, sponges, scrubbing pads, Swiffer stuff, cleaners for wood-floors and for tile floors. Oven and bathroom cleaners, napkins, toilet rolls and kitchen rolls etc...

 

Once again your generosity is greatly needed and much appreciated. Our hope is to give the men here a comfortable place to live, a home within which they may freely embark upon a new way of life and learn to live with their illness of addiction without ever having to use again and in doing so rebuild what was once a shattered life. May our combined efforts and Gods grace bring the transformation needed to produce a blessed life from a previously burdensome existence...One Day At A Time !
